Im currently a second year student of Psychology in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, and I will go on to obtain my Masters. Im also active in gender issues, and want to form a health center where the Roma community will learn about gender issues and sexual diseases.
I want to acquire the tools to address gender issues and to develop a plan for creating change. The Roma community in Kosovo is poor. They need someone to speak up for them, and give them the power to fight for their lives and face their challenges, from lack of education, to unemployment, violence and racism. They are proud that I came here to obtain skills that will help me to empower them.
Its important for new students and new generations, with the passion and inspiration to change the world, to have the opportunity to become involved. My message is to think in a positive way, because the world is changing every day and your opportunity will come.
