what moves you?

When you look at great architecture, it gives you a sense of optimism, that anything’s possible.

Art can change the way we think, perceive and do. I used to work in film, on the corporate side. Then I had an accident and almost died. That made me think about what I really wanted to do, which was work with art and help save the planet. Now I try to raise consciousness and use art as a perspective shifting device, to illuminate ideas that are possible, especially environmentalism.

I work with artists who invent things using new media and alternative energy sources to inspire change. Three out of five children today have asthma because of pollution. It’s ridiculous that we’re in this predicament. When I see people spend millions on decorative art, it makes me think that if people spent one percent of that income to help a cause, so much could change. By coming together and getting proactive we could make sure that our planet will still be around in the future.
