what moves you?

Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA)

When I see people who have suffered smile, showing that they still have hope, that moves me.

In the Buddha’s teaching, when there is difficulty, we look inside our mind and heart to accept and respect the differences that exist. As a representative to the UN for BLIA, I come to the NGO briefings every Thursday, to see how we can work with the UN and merge our goals. Children and education are very important for us. We also help the needy and the elderly worldwide, not only teaching Buddhism, but also giving people the opportunity to learn more about their own culture.
